Penkridge Junior u12′s v Cannock Town Blues – Match Report 19/04/2012

Thursday 19th March 2012

Penkridge Junior u12′s v Cannock Town Blues

Our fifth and final game in our medal competition a point away from a semi-final place, which considering the start to our season, well 80% of a season isn’t bad.

Going into the game I was unsure what to expect, playing on a Thursday night and against a team who seemed to have found a new confidence in this competition, but I shouldn’t have worried, the game was pleasure to watch and the best I’ve ever seen my team play, within 3 minutes we were 2 up and this allowed our team to play the way we have trained all season, passing and working it out from the back bringing both left and right backs in and allowing the two centre backs to relax and have time on the ball, the way the game should be played at any level.

Final score 6-1 and again pleasure to watch all the hard work come to fruition, today you should be proud of the way you played
